There's no need to buy furniture for the apartment (have a TV, couch, etc.) You just need a bed and stuff for your room. There is a gas burning stove/oven, awesome for cooking. Two separate mirrored vanities in bathroom means you get your own. My roommate is moving out in May. This apartment is a great deal for the location. You can walk everywhere. There is Butter Bakery down the street and Gigi's Cafe is near. If you want mexican, it's across the street. I will be a recent grad with a BFA in Painting/Drawing. I am interested in working part time and spending the rest of the year working on my portfolio for grad school. The apartment is pretty spacious so I will be partitioning the end to serve as a painting studio. I like common areas be clean and nice looking so you don't need to worry about my painting mess spilling over. I like interior design, the things I have consist of simple clean lines and neutral colors. I like baking and cooking as well as chipotle, and cheeseburgers from Burger Jones, the Duplex, or myburger. Food is awesome. I have a car, so if you don't have one, we can go grocery shopping together. I also like animals and I've fostered cats (six kittens popping up all over the place) and pet sat for a ferret and a dog so future roommate should be alright with that. I am pretty private, but really friendly. If I make some cupcakes, I'll share. For $500 you get a room in a 2bedroom apartment that's in a great location and I will cover all the utilities which can get spendy..
